Hi. I’m Nicki Banks and Sugar Bullet Marketing was my brainchild back in 2009.
Having worked in big companies previously including Leo Burnett (advertising agency), Kraft Foods (now Mondelez) and ATG (as Marketing Manager at the Bristol Hippodrome) I had a lot of marketing experience. Chatting to local companies I was very aware that this kind of strategic marketing experience was rarely available to small companies. I had always known in the back of my mind that I wanted to run my own business and Sugar Bullet Marketing was born to help small companies hit their marketing sweet spot.
My very first client was a magician, which was such a lovely experience for my first venture under Sugar Bullet, and since then I have worked with clients across industries as diverse as Food and Drink, Leisure, Educational Software and Construction to name just a few. At the core of everything I do for all my clients is understanding their specific business and customers and building a marketing plan based on these.
I now work with a mixture of retained clients where I manage their entire marketing plan for them (acting as an external Marketing Manager), and clients where I work with them to produce a plan which they are then in charge of.
Where I manage the plan I work with a network of trusted suppliers from web designers to branding to photographers – all of whom I have worked with on a number of occasions and feel confident will do a fantastic job for my clients. I can and do also work with any preferred suppliers my clients may have relationships with.
